OCC just launched this emerald lip tar, called Power Plant, exclusively at Sephora. I got this in my blogger bag at The Makeup Show LA and thought it would be fun to experiment with! And with St. Patrick’s Day coming I know I’ll be wearing this shade…because, why not?

This lip tar is inspired by the Pantone color of the year, Emerald…and Sephora actually has an emerald collection with Pantone, where this fits in perfectly!

Power Plant is a metallic blue toned green. It’s a bit sheer on the lips so I think it could use another layer. I found with this lip tar I use a lot more product than I typically do with other lip tars. Also, it doesn’t dry matte like my other lip tars- it stays glossy!

It surprisingly doesn’t look too bad on. It doesn’t make your teeth look weird or your skintone look crazy. I’m happy with it, and it is fun for St. Patrick’s Day, which is when I’ll be wearing it! You can find lip tars at Sephora for $18!
